IDEAL Software Solutions, member of IDEAL Holdings and a leader in digital solutions and technological innovations, announces its strategic partnership with the humanitarian organization KIDS SAVE LIVES to develop the iSAVELIVES app, an innovative platform aimed at saving lives.
KIDS SAVE LIVES, with a mission to educate and raise awareness about first aid and rescue, has trained over 450,000 students, parents and teachers with the support of over 600 volunteer trainers. Focused on improving survival rates from cardiac arrest in Greece, the organization collaborates with agencies and Ministries in Greece and Cyprus, offering programs under the auspices of the relevant authorities.
iSAVELIVES app is a vital tool, available for free, designed to drastically reduce response times in emergency situations, increasing survival rates from out-of-hospital cardiac arrest. The app’s key features include:
- Calling 166 | 112
- Navigation to the nearest public defibrillator
- Instructions for guided CPR and first aid
- Notification of certified First Responders
With a survival rate below 10%, Greece ranks as the fourth worst in Europe for survival from cardiac arrest. iSAVELIVES app aims to increase this percentage, saving more lives.
Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis emphasized the importance of volunteerism during a meeting held on Holy Tuesday at Maximos Mansion with members of the humanitarian organization. He acknowledged their valuable contribution to educating children and citizens in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), as well as their efforts in establishing a nationwide network of defibrillators and first responders across Greece.
IDEAL Software Solutions, through its expertise in mobile applications development, contributes to the implementation of this important initiative by providing the technological foundation for a wider adoption of iSAVELIVES by the public.
Mr. Constantinos Pretenteris, CEO of IDEAL Software Solutions, stated: “This collaboration highlights IDEAL Software Solutions’ social responsibility and our commitment to ESG principles, promoting health, safety and well-being through the innovative technological solutions we offer.”
