IDEAL Software Solutions, a Byte subsidiary and a leading provider of digital document management and enterprise software solutions, announces that it has been awarded a contract by the National Bank of Greece in Cyprus for the implementation of the PDF/UA accessibility standard and the upgrade of the i-DOCS Customer Communication Management (CCM) platform for the period 2026–2028.
PDF/UA (Universal Accessibility) is the international standard mandated under the European Accessibility Act, requiring organizations across the European Union to ensure that PDF documents are fully accessible to individuals with disabilities. The standard guarantees compatibility with assistive technologies such as screen readers and includes structured navigation, alternative text descriptions, and compliance with internationally recognized standards such as WCAG and EN 301 549.
